StudioTime was featured in an article about London studios in Digital Photographer magazine, in February 2008. Snippet below:
"Go west to seek your fortune? Business partners Martin Gomez and Tony Thornton did quite the reverse and decided on relocating to the East end of London, things seem to be working out particularly well. The pair originally worked together in a Knightsbridge based photographic studio, working as commercial photographers. After leaving the company they both hooked up a year later and started the studio in London Fields.
As for work the pair are kept busy shooting advertising, editorial, portraiture as well as hiring the space and have a varied client list including The Observer, Tate Modern, BBC, The Bank of England, Boots, The Sunday Times, Channel 4,The Crown Estate, Porsche, Adolfo Dominguez, Boots to name but a few. We have recently shot Jiah Khan star of ‘Nishabd’ the latest Bollywood movie, Jane Merrow Golden Globe nominee and the artist Adam Ball for the Square meal restaurant book. We were commissioned to shoot several headshots for the BBC ONE program ‘People Watchers ‘ and have just finished shooting the latest range of teenage fragrances for ‘So Fragrance’." |
